Replace your standard cooking grills in the Black Earth Element 24 grill with this griddle plate for ultimate versatility.

This griddle plate is made out of 0.135" (3.5 mm) carbon steel and will need to be seasoned before use, and periodically oiled to keep it from rusting.

Optional Indirect Flame Kit for the Black Earth Built-In Hybrid Grill. 

When cooking with the wood pellets, this kit directs the heat upwards and across the top of the food, rather than circulating across the bottom of the grill first. 

This can reduce flare-ups, and can be beneficial for longer cooks such as brisket or pork shoulders.
